WALK-IN CHAMBERS

A climatic chamber helps you to simulate seasonal differences and different climatic zones when setting up test conditions for your crops and experiments.

In a controlled environment by means of precise sensors, the cultivation data can be guaranteed as well as the replication of the tests so that the production control can be validated by official administration (or agencies) or the end customer.

Two types of chambers can be differentiated:

VISITABLE (Walk-IN): Chambers where visits or work can be carried out in a totally controlled environment.
COMPACT: “Refrigerator” type chambers where small crops are usually grown with almost no human intervention. They can also serve as controlled storage.

Technology has advanced a lot since the first fluorescent lamps (CFL) were developed, as well as PAR/PBAR radiation values, since it has been discovered that by affecting the main photoreceptors of plants with specific wavelengths, thanks to LED technology, the efficiency of the photosynthesis process has increased exponentially, discovering new morphological and organoleptic effects depending on the spectrum that affects the crop and the constant PPFD values that have been from seed to harvest.

We adapt our climate expertise to your success

Our cultivation chambers can be adapted to any type of cultivation regardless of the distribution: On shelves, racks, grow cabinets, grow tables or floor.
Our climate control system is also adaptable depending on the type of cultivation to be performed: in pots, petri dishes, hydroponic, ebb and flow, aeroponic, or drip irrigation.
Depending on the irrigation system, we will adapt the climate system for greater air ventilation and humidity evacuation so that the gas exchange that takes place during the photosynthesis phase can take place faster to ensure that the crop is performing optimally.

Scientific advances are always on the rise and we want to help students, researchers, scientists and companies to improve their lighting performance so that their research or projects go with greater guarantees of a natural, vigorous growth and controlling the exact lighting parameters to be more accurately detailed in their results.

We have also realized by measuring the spectrum and PPFD in multilevel visitable growth chambers that having “typical” fluorescents from trials prior to LED technology, even if they are of well-known brands, CFL technology is obsolete, not efficient, emits a lot of heat and continues to have risks of explosion and contaminate crops due to heavy materials in its composition, for example, mercury. The low PAR/PBAR emission of this technology and the high power consumption makes that more and more researchers and companies are encouraged to change their growth chambers and phytotrons to LED technology, for precision in the emission of wavelengths, low heat emission, balanced or customized spectrum according to the objective of the research such as plant growth, germination, flowering, maintenance.
